Miller Releases First Ad
Highlights “The Difference” Between Miller and Murphy
Orlando, FL – Mike Miller, who is challenging Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy for Florida’s 7th congressional district, released his first ad today, titled, “The Difference.”
In the ad, Miller contrasts his record of cutting taxes and supporting a balanced budget in the Florida Legislature, with Congresswoman Murphy’s record voting against the same policies in Washington. Miller voted to cut taxes for Floridians three separate times. On the other hand, when Murphy had a chance to support tax reform for middle class families in her district, she chose to vote against it. Miller voted for a balanced budget every year he served in the Legislature, and supports a Balanced Budget Amendment in Washington, but Murphy sided with her party and voted against a Balanced Budget Amendment.
Miller goes on to state, “Nearly nine out of ten times, Stephanie Murphy votes with liberal Nancy Pelosi. She votes for San Francisco. I’ll vote for Central Florida, and that’s the difference.”

Running for public office for the first time in 2014 in a district that was evenly divided Republican and Democrat, Mike was elected to the Florida House of Representatives by defeating the incumbent Democrat. In 2016, Mike handily defeated his Democratic opponent in a district where Hillary Clinton won by 12%.
