False Ad Attacking Miller Pulled From Stations
Miller Calls on Murphy to Denounce the Claims
Orlando, FL – Local Hearst Media stations, NBC affiliate, WESH Channel 2 and WKCF pulled an ad attacking Mike Miller, candidate for U.S. House, District 7 from its airwaves based on false claims verified by WESH political reporter, Greg Fox.
The ad, paid for by Nancy Pelosi’s PAC, Majority PAC, aimed to help Miller’s opponent, Stephanie Murphy.
“It is rare that an ad actually gets pulled from the air,” said Miller Campaign Manager, Alex Bolton. “Lots of candidates try, but the fact that this one has been removed speaks to how blatantly false its claims are.”
Rep. Miller added, “As I said before, honesty and integrity matter. Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy says she would like to get the dark money out of politics. Dark money funded this ad that spread flat out lies about me. If Congresswoman Murphy stands by her comments, she should rebuke the efforts of Nancy Pelosi and Majority PAC to mislead voters, and call on them to pull the ad from all stations.”
